About Sam
I’m Samantha L Taylor, founder of Sam’s Simple Safety and a Strategic Operational Health & Safety Manager.
My career has grown from hands-on operational roles into managing people, facilities and health and safety across multiple sites. I’ve managed the work as well as advised on safety, so I understand the everyday pressures of keeping a business running.
I created SSS to bring that experience to small and growing businesses—helping them build clear, practical safety systems around the work they actually do.
My journey—from the ground up.
I see my career as a tree: rooted in practical experience, strengthened by each new responsibility and growing in new directions.
My roots are in customer service, warehousing, administration, care services, maintenance and business ownership. These experiences taught me to understand the work, listen to people and recognise the pressures they face.
The trunk grew through managing Technology Enabled Care operations, leading teams and building everyday processes. This is where people, technology and practical safety came together in my work.
The branches took me into health, safety and environmental management systems, national facilities management across 26 sites, and regional health and safety leadership.
SSS is the next branch. It brings that experience together to help small and growing businesses build strong foundations of their own.
